Stuart Sailfish Regatta April 20-21, 2013

The 2nd Annual is scheduled for April 20-21st from 10am-5pm. Without a doubt, we are getting ready for one of the most exciting events to hit the Treasure Coast of Florida in years and it's all for a good cause! The Stuart Sailfish Regatta will be transforming the normally serene Stuart Causeway into a scene for speed on the water with the competition, the victory and adrenaline-pumping sport of powerboat racing.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the USS Sailing Center, the Children's Museum and the Maritime Museum. This is an American Power Boat Association sanctioned event. These tricked-out boats can reach speeds of more than 150 mph. The weekend of festivities features more than just the Hydroplane races.

Hydroplane racing is very much like NASCAR but on water and every bit, if not more exciting! Tricked-out super boats reach unbelievable speeds that require not only the technological expertise of their crew but the skill of the driver as they push their boats to the limit over unpredictable water on this challenging course. Spectators will enjoy live music, kids' activities, vendors and more throughout the three-day event. The super-charged weekend kicks off Friday, April 19th with the Sponsor & VIP PARTY! Racing crews, sponsors and other VIPs are invited to an exhilarating party Friday evening to enjoy spirits, bites and live music.

MIATC is proud to sponsor this event, stop by our booth and say HI!
